Delete your account
This page explains how to permanently delete your Guitar Mentor account and the data associated with it, including for people who have already uninstalled the app.

1 How to request deletion
There are two ways to delete your account. Both result in the same permanent deletion described below.
Delete it yourself, instantly
Open Guitar Mentor and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, then confirm.
This immediately and permanently deletes your account and its associated data — no waiting period, no extra steps.
If you've uninstalled or can't open the app
Email us from your account's registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
admin@plugai.inWe verify that the request comes from the account owner's registered email, then action it within 7 days. We may reply to confirm before deleting.
2 What is deleted and what is kept
- Account & sign-in identifiers — your email and account ID (Firebase Authentication).
- Practice data — practice history, streaks, skill stats, setlists, and annotations (Firestore).
- Audio & stems — all audio you uploaded or imported, and any generated stems (Cloudflare R2).
- Subscription & transaction records — kept only where required for tax/GST, accounting, or fraud prevention, for the legally required period.
- Backups — residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
