Delete your Keyboard Mentor account
You can delete your Keyboard Mentor account (operated by PlugAI) at any time, in the app or by email. You do not need to delete the app first.
Delete in the app
- Open Keyboard Mentor and go to the Profile tab.
- In the Account section, tap Delete account. (In kids mode, a grown-up check comes first.)
- Type DELETE and tap Delete my account.
If the app asks you to sign in again first, sign out, sign back in with the same account, and repeat the steps. This is a security rule of the sign-in system.
If you never signed in, your account is only an anonymous ID with no name or email. The in-app flow still removes its server and RevenueCat records.
Delete by email
Email admin@plugai.in with the subject "Delete my Keyboard Mentor account", sent from the email address you signed in with. If you used Sign in with Apple with a hidden email, tell us that, and we will help you confirm the account. We delete the account and the server records listed below within 30 days and email you when it is done.
Use email if you can no longer open the app.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication): your account ID, linked Apple, Google or email sign-in, email address and name. Deleting in the app removes this immediately.
- Your Pro entitlement record on our server: whether Keyboard Mentor Pro is active for your account, and the IDs of subscription events we processed.
- Your daily coach usage counts are not deleted by the in-app flow. Each is only a number for one day and expires separately.
- Your customer record at RevenueCat, our subscription partner, apart from what it must keep by law.
Deleting in the app removes the sign-in account, Pro entitlement record, processed Keyboard Mentor subscription event IDs and RevenueCat customer record. Your lessons, scores, streaks and settings are stored only on your device, not on our servers, so there is no server copy of your progress to delete.
What is kept
- Store purchase records. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep records of purchases and transactions as tax, accounting and consumer law require. We cannot delete those.
- Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, ideally before deleting your account.
- Progress on your device. In-app deletion does not touch the lessons, scores and settings on your phone. To remove them, use Profile → Reset progress, or delete the app.
- Short-lived technical logs on our servers, which are deleted on our hosting providers' standard schedules.
Before you delete
- Deleting cannot be undone. A new anonymous account is created the next time you use the app.
- Keyboard Mentor shares its sign-in system with another PlugAI app. If you used the same Apple, Google or email sign-in in that app, deleting the account here deletes that sign-in there too.
- If you subscribe again later with the same store account, Restore purchases on the Pro screen brings an active subscription back.
